Harwell Garden Office

Working from home during lockdown led to the decision to build a garden office on this village property. In an ideal location for access from the house, this cedar clad building needed to be incorporated into the garden as it looked quite incongruous partway down the garden.

The design has created two new planting beds to integrate the hard landscaping of the decking and office. They also alter the scale of the large lawn and link the areas together.  A stepping stone path further linking the shapes together will keep feet dry in wet weather without physically dissecting the lawn.

New plants selected from the planting scheme proposal have been supplemented with some mature plants that were transplanted from elsewhere in the garden.

The planting was finished in time for a special family party....just the stepping stone path to complete.
