Country Garden

This 2.5 acre garden, situated on the edge of a village close to the Ridgeway required re-contouring to transition the garden through the 4m height difference from one side to the other.  The tennis court was an existing feature but was surrounded by ugly earthworks from the excavations when it was originally built.

The clients enjoy entertaining and wanted to incorporate the existing hot tub and changing room into a larger relaxation area, which could also accommodate a number of guests.

They were keen for a contemporary garden, using crisp materials mixed with the warmth of natural wood and a simple but stunning planting colour scheme.  Many trees were specified to create height and privacy and a link to the surrounding countryside.  A nature pond was designed to assist drainage, create additional relaxation areas and encourage a multitude of wildlife.
